FREQUENTLY ASKED
QUESTIONS
What if I've never trained before?
Everyone is welcome to join our classes, we keep our classes small so we can ensure everyone is exercising in a safe environment. Exercises will be adapted to suit you and your abilities always. Remember, we all have to start somewhere, at some point in time.
Can I bring my children?
Yes, your children can come as long as they sit in the smoothie bar or by you in the class. We ask that you are mindful about them staying off the equipment (this is a health and safety hazard for their fingers and toes), babies are welcome too as long as you take full responsibility for them if they get upset or are getting in the way of other clients exercising. We recommend PT sessions for new mums before starting classes, as well as more flexibility with bringing your babies/kids to class.
I have an injury!
Don't worry our team of professionals will adapt exercises to suit your injury. Always let the coach know if you are injured before class, or if something does feel right so they can assist you and make sure you are doing things correctly. If you have had a major injury or surgery, we recommend you get clearance from your medical professional before starting.
Do you have a cancellation policy?
Yes we do, we require 35 hours notice for a class cancellation to be honoured. Casual class passes are not honoured if you can't make it or do not show up. Please check our terms and conditions for more information.
Can I exercise whilst pregnant?
Absolutely, it is highly encouraged, however, if you are newly pregnant and never exercised before, we advise you to work with a personal trainer first. Keep up with walking, stretching and light movement and when you feel confident you can come and train in a class. We recommend seeing a pelvic floor physio or PT if you have had any complications during and after birth before you start increasing your intensity. Strength training reduces the risk of preeclampsia by 41% !!
Can I put my membership on hold?
You can put your membership on hold for up to 4 weeks of the entire year and no longer unless you require surgery. You can also donate your membership to someone else whilst you are away if you wish to give the gift of movement. It's such a beautiful way to give back!
Are there any contracts?
We have a general terms and conditions, however all we require is 4 weeks notice of membership cancellation from the date of your cancellation email. Text messages will not be accepted as membership cancellations; we require an email to our main inbox: meg.pwrfit@gmail.com
What should I bring and wear?
Always bring with you a drink bottle, a sweat towel, and your own mat. Wear clothes you feel comfortable exercising and moving in. Please bring any medical necessities with you, for example, if you need an inhaler, please ensure you have it with you for your workout.
Do you have showers?
